1. About this policy
Avant Garden Publisher is an internal operational tool for authorized Avant Garden team members. This Privacy Policy explains what information the service collects and how it is used.
2. Information we collect
Authorized user information. We store the username, display name, and role (administrator or user) assigned to each authorized team member. Passwords are processed through cryptographic hashing in the production service. We never store passwords in plain text.
Social platform connection information. When an authorized administrator connects a social account, the production service stores access credentials provided by the platform through official OAuth. We never request or store social media passwords.
Content and publication data. We store video content, preview images, captions, titles, and publishing metadata while they are needed for publishing operations. Original video files are kept temporarily while required for scheduled publishing, processing, retries, or recovery.
Publication identifiers. External post IDs, permanent links, and timestamps may be stored per destination as part of the editorial history.
3. How we use information
Information is used to provide the publishing service: authenticating users, connecting social accounts, scheduling content, publishing to selected platforms, monitoring publication status, retrying or recovering when needed, and maintaining an operational history for the team. It may also be used for security and diagnostic purposes.
4. Google and YouTube API data
When an authorized user connects a Google account, Avant Garden Publisher may use YouTube API access to perform the requested publishing functions: identifying the connected account, uploading authorized video content, providing title and description, scheduling or publishing content where supported, and retrieving processing or publication status. Data obtained through Google and YouTube APIs is not sold to third parties. It is not used for advertising, targeting, or any purpose unrelated to the publishing tool. Use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.
5. Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
We use Meta APIs to connect Facebook Pages and Instagram Professional accounts, publish authorized content, and check publication status. Data is used exclusively for the authorized publishing operation.
6. TikTok
When connected, we may identify the authorized TikTok account, submit video content, and track delivery or publication status. The available publishing flow depends on the capabilities authorized by TikTok. Some workflows may require the user to complete publication within the TikTok application.
7. Data retention
Original video files are kept temporarily while needed for scheduled publishing, processing, retries, or recovery. Preview images may persist with publication history. Access credentials are removed when an account is disconnected. User data is retained while the account remains active. Publication identifiers and operational history may be retained where operationally necessary.
8. Data sharing
Avant Garden Publisher does not sell user data. Content and metadata are transmitted to the selected social platforms solely to perform the requested publishing action. Platform connections can be revoked or disconnected at any time through the tool. Provider-side authorization can also be revoked directly through the provider.
